I don't write many journal entries, but I just wanted to thank the deviant art community for being as nice as all of you are, and have been to me. I think (you don't have to back me up on this), that my art in all forms (porcelain, photography, cloth, etc) has greatly improved due in a large part to having someplace to put it where people can view it, and I can get almost instant feedback. So thank you. I am trying to be more active in the deviant art community, but I've never been good with forums and things...so it's hard. Keep up the good work everyone!

I know that in the broad scheme of things I'm pretty new to this community, and I'm just starting to get used to the community atmosphere...but I appreciate this site for what it is and how well it involves everyone. In honor of independence day, there was a giant water balloon fight in downtown Grand Rapids yesterday. We went, and I took some pictures. While it wasn't as fun or as organized as it could have been, it was still an interesting idea and overall fun!
